Carbon steel is the workhorse: cheaper than stainless, stronger than aluminium, and available in every thickness from 0.15 mm sheet to 200 mm plate. We supply plate and coil for fabrication and pressure work, cold rolled sheet for appliances and drums, and structural sections cut to length for steel buildings.
