Q235B Carbon Steel Plate
Structural plate to GB/T 700 and GB/T 3274
Q235B is the default structural plate in China: 235 MPa minimum yield, freely weldable, available in thicknesses from 1.5 to 200 mm at short notice. Wherever a project mixes Chinese design with European or American drawings, Q235B is the grade that gets quoted against S235JR and A36. The ‘B’ suffix means it is impact-tested at room temperature and has tighter sulphur and phosphorus limits than the A grade.
